Alasdair (aka Ali)
Alasdair, our DJ and Director, might not be the typical musician. With a background in Cognitive Neuroscience — yes, you read that right! — he’s studied the brain, particularly sleep, but when it comes to music, he’ll keep you wide awake with his incredible beats. What started as a side hustle quickly turned into a full-blown passion for creating the perfect vibe at any event. Whether you're a couple, a venue, or a business, Ali’s your first point of contact, and he’s all about bringing your dreams to life with a personal touch and some seriously good tunes.

Kassandra (aka Kass)
As for me, — I’ve been immersed in the music world since I was 12 years old. I’ve had the privilege of working in some of the best venues and alongside some of the most talented musicians in South Australia. My background includes a Bachelor of Jazz, and I was a finalist in the prestigious Generation in Jazz competition. Currently, I’m a marketing manager at a well-known wedding venue and winery, so I know exactly what it takes to create a seamless and memorable event. Music has always been a passion of mine, and through Encore Music Collective, I get to share that love while working with talented professionals in the music and wedding industries.

So, how did we get here? Well, it all started with Alasdair creating this opportunity for us to spend more time together—something that was really important to both of us. We both wanted to collaborate with other amazing artists and vendors in a way that felt more personal, creative, and inspiring.

While it’s just the two of us running the show, we’re passionate about showcasing and supporting other incredible professionals in the music, wedding, and events industries.
